An evil magician took over the city and police through hypnotism and magic making the higher-ups vote the way he wanted. The heroes band together to take back the city.

The cowgirl is a crack shot with any gun of any kind. She used to run with a circus til she started solving mysteries and loved that. She moved to the city becoming a famous detective, solving many cases. She even got nicknames like the cowgirl detective or the six-shooter sleuth. At the circus, she was known as the trigger.

The sea captain was a sea captain til he fell into solving his first mystery of his friend being framed for murder. He solved it and liked doing it. He started solving many mysteries including one where he entered a strength contest and was declared the winner becoming the strongest man in the state. After that, he gained the nickname of "the anchor" because of his strength and is frequently seen with his anchor shirt, which he considers lucky.

The knight is a man who used mysticism to see his past life and found he was a knight and found this past life bonded with his mind becoming one. This knight knew where to get his old mystic sword and armor so that no harm could come to him in this armor. He put it on becoming a knight of justice, meeting it out to any evil-doer. The sword would glow and make his eyes glow when he fought. In the night he looked like some spectral knight of death making many criminals call him the ghost knight.

The masked man used to be an inventor trying to get out non-lethal weapons for the police but it didn't prove very successful so he fell back on his law degree like his parents wanted and became a lawyer. He would practice martial arts to stay in shape and everything seemed to be going well til new laws came down through the city that made it impossibly hard to prosecute any criminal, making it easy for crime bosses everywhere. He took a page from the comics and became a vigilante known as the Cloak!

Kezia and Manfri were twins who grew up as gypsies of a gypsy family whose particular sect practiced magic. Sadly Kezia and Manfri's father was framed by the rest of the gypsy sect and put in jail. Their mother teaches them much about magic but Kezia realized she needed to learn more. Kezia became the student of a mage with a plague doctor mask. Kezia and her brother Manfri catch the person who led the sect's revolt and framed their father. Kezia goes to the city and establishes a detective agency under the alias of Madam Eye recruiting other super sleuths to further help others like she helped her father.
